SWG Engineering

Since January 2014 the engineering office "SWG Engineering" has been an integral part of SWG Schraubenwerk Gaisbach GmbH.

The office operates as an independent unit. A team of 16 employees in the fields of statics, construction and software development support you as a competent and reliable partner with the realization of your projects.
In addition to the competence in statics and software development, SWG Engineering is specialised in timber construction.

The team’s tasks include the new and further development of fasteners, connecting elements and applications as well as the development of solution proposals in difficult and complex construction projects.

Die SWG Produktion

For decades, SWG Produktion Schraubenwerk Gaisbach GmbH, based in Waldenburg (Baden-Württemberg), has stood for innovative and high-quality screws for major customers.

The globally active company has production facilities that are state of the art. The product range includes wood construction screws, screws for fastening metal and plastics as well as assembly screws made of steel and stainless steel in diameters from 3 mm to 14 mm and a length of up to 1.5 m. In addition to the European ETA approval, the company also has special approvals for wood construction screws in the USA (ICC) and Canada (CCMC).

SWG Produktion is one of the largest screw manufacturers in Europe. With more than 200 employees, the company produces up to 12 million screws per day, consuming approximately 80 tons of wire.

50 years of experience in screw production, material and energy efficiency, highly qualified employees and a future-oriented management contribute to the company's success.

Thanks to the in-house engineering office "SWG Engineering", customers can also be offered extensive know-how in the field of dimensioning, planning and consulting in timber construction engineering.

1978 Start of the production of chipboard screws with cross-head drive

1988 Move to Waldenburg

1991 Separation of the company into the profit centres trade and production

2001 Extension of the production area by 3.300 m²

2007 Expansion of the production area by a further 6,000 m²

2014 Expansion to include the SWG Engineering division

2019 Start of construction of the new production hall in timber construction
